The Yapeen Pub

also found some 18-month old photos of the garden at our house. it was really just a few sticks in tan bark. now it's a forest. it helps inspire me; if I can get a few little sticks into the ground at Yapeen by late winter, two summers later there will be real vegetation there.

today I noticed a lockable metal cabinet in an IKEA ad and said to my husband it would work well to store the TV at the pub. he scoffed that he thought everything had to be interesting old found objects there.
weeeelll... yes. except maybe a few practical items like cute shiny metal lockers.

small progress; now have a list of builders and composting toilet providers to book in for my day of getting quotes and sitting in the empty shell of a building wondering what I've done.

the "sold" sign has finally gone up on the agents' Web site. and my tenants are getting out of the flat I have to sell - they'll be out April 1. so it's really happening.

meanwhile, the rest of my life is becoming ever more busy and I wonder what I'm letting myself in for. there's a small loophole which would still allow me to pull out. but I'm not going to.
