been doing a bit of work on the web site - obviously it's in progress and not really for public consumption yet. rates will probably change and I'll certainly need to clean it up a bit and add more text. but this is the general idea.

nothing like actually making some calls to get some action. the project now has strong leads on demolition (for a shed I've decided can't be saved and is a danger to shipping), on people to help move the gear up there, and on weed control for the blackberries, which I detest.

sadly, the plumber has gone on holiday for a month without notice and the toilet is yet to happen...

so it looks like we won't be "open for business" until around mid-february at least. I guess that gives me a chance to get all the rest of it under control by then.

and again the calls have brought up some history; I'm told the other shed, which is demolished on the neighbouring property and still standing on mine, was used as a dance hall up to the 1920s. and that a previous resident was an old lady who was lovely but "probably quite dotty".

check: with local school for possible previous historical research.
