rabbit elimination guide

the rabbitproof fence has been halted by what is essentially a dispute between the fencer and my neighbour; I am completely annoyed with both of them, as the natives are in the ground and the fruit trees will be arriving soon. we may have to make a special trip up to put wire guards around about 20 fruit trees and however many natives are left: there are hundreds of rabbits up there and they will have killed a few trees already, I'm afraid.

"new" kitchen cabinet is in (mouseproof: country life is all about wildlife control!), "new" bedroom rug, a big load of wood in the shed and very few bookings coming up: I may have to just go up there and enjoy it by myself.

a plan has been lodged for the hill across the road; fortunately it's quite a small, sensitively designed house well back in the trees. there was always going to be something built there because of the availability of power, water, phone etc, so better that than some prefab monstrosity.
